Francis Ford Coppola Winery
300 Via Archimedes
Geyserville, CA 95441

If you’re looking for a European vacation away from foggy San Francisco this is an option for a quick day trip. Just 1.5 hours away from San Francisco, you can find this Italian-style treasure in Geyserville California Sonoma County.

When you walk into the estate, you’ll find a main wine tasting area, a fine dining restaurant with a beautiful view overlooking the vineyards, and a large pool with comfy lounge chairs, colorful umbrellas, and cabines for pool guests. The highlight of my time there was being able to relax by the pool, order from the cafe, and have some wine.

Every summer the Coppola Winery pool gets fully booked up just a few days after passes are released in March, but it’s possible to get in for grass space if you head up to the winery when doors open at 11AM.

Customary: $135 per cabine
Four (4) pool passes. Includes children (ages 3-12)
Up to four (4) lounge chairs
Use of four (4) towels
Poolside service for Pool Cafe

    • Yes, I was really excited to find a place like this to getaway to. I’m surprised we don’t have many places like it… theyre all in Palm Springs or Socal…

      • I know, agreed! Always such a nice surprise when you find a gem spot.
